OUTDOOR SPORT AND RECREATION INSTRUCTORS COURSE


This course, which is validated by the Further Education and Training Council (FETAC) and the relevant governing body of Sport (Irish Sailing Association and Irish Canoe Union), enables participants to gain the experience, background and qualifications to work competently in the area of outdoor sport and recreation.


Course Description

This full-time course requires five days per week attendance, one day of which involves work experience. The main areas of study include: Dinghy Sailing; Kayaking; Windsurfing; Outdoor Leadership and Safety; Information Technology Studies and Communications.
